Our Mission
We provide a positive, caring, and supportive environment for children of low-income families that values and respects the child’s full potential, while offering a variety of cultural enrichment activities as well as academic support.
Our Vision
Children of the Valley will be a safe after school environment for children most in need. We will provide meaningful cultural enrichment activities and opportunities for its children and families. We will create partnerships and build relationships within the community and cultures of the Skagit Valley
Who we Serve
Children of the Valley is a free, referral based program. Our students must qualify for free lunch through their elementary school. If you have questions about qualifications please call the program director at 360-424-9399
Daily Schedule
2:45-3:15pm Children Arrive*
3:15-3:45pm Snack and Free Time
3:45-4:15pm Reading
4:15-5:00pm Homework/Quiet Time
5:00-5:30pm Enrichment Activities/Recreation Time
5:30-6:00pm Clean Up Departure
*Children are either bussed to the program or are picked up by COV staff and walk to the program.
